Category: Chapmans Peak – The Unravelling

In Cape Town, where I lived for a long time, a mountain called Chapman’s Peak dominated the area. It’s an enormous sandstone ‘sentinel’ and in recent years boulders started to fall from the top. Several cars have been crushed. I imagine the mountain flinging the boulders at us, the human race, to remind us of our ‘little-ness’ in the face of nature. Respect, Man!!
